WHO WE ARE

Joe Drymala is a veteran political strategist whose career in politics began in 2003 when, outraged by George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq, he quit his law job in New York City to volunteer for Vermont Governor Howard Dean’s presidential campaign. Beginning as a volunteer in an office of 8 people and ascending to the role of primary speechwriter for a campaign that eventually attained frontrunner status before falling short in early primary states, Drymala went on to work with campaign manager Joe Trippi and other Dean campaign veterans on a number of Democratic campaigns.

Most recently, Drymala served as Political Director for the pioneering progressive influencer marketing firm Main Street One (now People First), where he was tasked with creating the political social listening and analysis department, building the department from scratch, developing and innovating new reporting techniques and approaches, and managing MS1’s team of political social data analysts while working as lead political analyst himself. His experience there included working directly with US Senate and gubernatorial campaigns, Democratically aligned PACs, labor unions, nonprofits, and other nonpolitical commercial and corporate clients.

At the end of 2021, Drymala launched Share Of Voice, a first-of-its-kind consulting company devoted exclusively to helping Democrats win by analyzing millions of online conversations using A.I.-enhanced data gathering techniques, and then applying political and messaging expertise to make sense of those findings - helping Democrats and progressives turn intelligence into action. Share Of Voice works with candidates and organizations to help combat disinformation and create winning messages that are already proving to be effective online.
